Girls' Night

Girls' Night

It's late and I should not be making comics at this hour. I just end up making dirty jokes about kappas' habit of sharing their "victims" with their friends. Honestly, kappas are horrible horrible creatures. :XD:

I colored this one on computer because I wanted the kappas to have different shades of blue/green/yellow which I can't so with my markers.

Jacob, Nini and Friends

Jacob, Nini and Friends

This one really took forever to make, my computer hate the file, and I'm not even done with it yet. But it was fun. I originally wanted there to be monsters from many different cultures, but I ended up only using Japanese monsters (exept for the little demon guy at the bottom who's from India, and the angels of course). Maybe next time.

It will be sold as a poster at the London Expo convention. :)

JacobXNini sketches

JacobXNini sketches

A pair of somewhat pervy sketches of Jacob and Nini with friends.

The top sketch has Ruth in it, the blue oni woman from a few comics back. I deliberately give them horribly inaccurate names, a weird trend that started with the Indian demon named...Jacob. You get the picture.

The bottom sketch is a redone version of an old Japanese painting showing a woman perving on two samurais that I found in a book once. I don't remember how they could tell, but the book said that her pose showed that she was only pretending to be shy about watching them. I know their bodies look oddly short, but that's what the original looked like.
Both Jacob and the other demon guy are based on paintings of Indian demons. I just thought the weird forehead plate thingie on the other guy was too cool to be ignored and had to use him in something. :XD:

The Yokai Bar

The Yokai Bar

Goddammit Jacob! Would it kill you to find a woman your own size!?

Anyway, the big blue woman is an oni, and the friendly looking racoon dog at the end is a tanuki, a type of yōkai that is really fond of teabagging people, sometimes to death. Don't believe me? http://b-knox.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/kagee_tanuki_2.jpg http://www.pinktentacle.com/images/kuniyoshi_tanuki_141.jpg :XD:

Oh Japan. Your mythical creatures are weird as hell, but so much fun to draw. :XD:
